8 Western & English Today EARLY SPRING 2014 INDUSTRY news MARCH DALLAS MARKET TO HOST MISS RODEO AMERICA SEMINAR 10th annual Premier Rodeo Pageant Seminar to be held March 26-30 during the Dallas Western Market T he Dallas Market Center will host Miss Rodeo America's 10th annual Premier Rodeo Pageant Seminar, March 26-30, during its Western Market. The growing Western Market is held twice a year and the upcoming show is March 26-29. Dallas is the f rst marketplace to host this important educational series. The seminar aims to educate young women about the sport of professional rodeo and Western industry career paths through keynotes presented by industry leaders. Presentations will focus on public speaking, modeling, interviews, social media, animal welfare, rodeo events and equipment, equine knowledge and more. Of -site seminar events in Fort Worth will include horsemanship demonstrations at the Cowtown Coliseum, a tour of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and f ag running during the Stockyards Championship Rodeo.
