16 Western & English Today INDUSTRY NEWS Tim Bingham and Richie Champion Become Nocona Boot Company Endorsees Nocona expands rodeo roster with two professional rodeo athletes prior to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo F ORT WORTH, TEXAS — Nocona Boot Company took another major step in positioning the brand within the professional rodeo scene as the Western footwear brand from Texas signed Tim Bingham and Richie Champion to its list of professional rodeo endorsees. Climbing to the top of the professional rodeo world standings Tim Bingham and Richie Champion rank fourth and seventh in the bull riding and bareback riding events, respectively. Both cowboys made their f rst appearance as Nocona athletes at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) in Las Vegas in December. Bingham and Champion join the fan-favorite rodeo cowboys and brothers Jacobs and Sterling Crawley. "Tim and Richie are both young and impressive cowboys with promising rodeo careers ahead," Chris Stein, Nocona Boot Company Brand Manager, said. "We're thrilled to partner with such talented gentlemen and we're excited to share this opportunity with our fans." Hailing from Honeyville, Utah, 23-year-old bull rider Tim Bingham has an impressive list of rodeo accomplishments. The two-time Utah High School bull riding champion, Bingham took the rodeo world by storm at an early age. Other remarkable career wins include the Justin Boots Championships, the American Royal, and the Wrangler Champions Challenge in Spanish Fork, Utah. Bareback rider and native Texan, Richie Champion also lends his long list of rodeo accomplishments to the Nocona Boot Rodeo team. Champion won the bareback riding title at The American, and he shared titles in Montgomery, Ala., and Denver, Colo. Bingham and Champion, along with Crawley, represented the Nocona Boot Company at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December.
